The Problem

Coventry Cathedral’s previous website was no longer fit for purpose. It failed to communicate the breadth of its role—serving as a place of worship, a cultural centre, and a historic monument. Information such as service times, event details, and the cathedral’s story of reconciliation was scattered or unclear. The challenge was to design a website that honoured the cathedral’s rich spiritual heritage, while also embracing its modern role as a cultural and community hub.
