Resource bank for teachers & educators

Countryside Classroom is a bold initiative to help schools incorporate food, farming and the natural environment in their teaching. The vision is for every child to leave school with an informed, healthy relationship to food and its production. The website brings together more than thirty partners in education, agriculture and the food industry to provide teachers with effective, curated resources and services to use in their lessons, both in and out of the classroom.

We worked closely with the organisation to establish clear user and administrator journeys that informed the structure and layout of the website and its administrative workflows. These resulted in a simple and intuitive content submission and approval process that allows teachers and partners to submit content directly to the website.

The website integrates seamlessly with their marketing system giving rich analytics data which we regularly review to provide strategic guidance to the Countryside Classroom team around how to optimise the site and develop ongoing interactions with the initiative's audiences.

As well as developing the site for its initial launch, Suru Partners designed and manage the site’s hosting infrastructure ensuring it remains fast, reliable and secure. We continue to partner with the organisation leading Countryside Classroom to deliver new features on a rapid schedule, consult to explore and iterate on new organisational initiatives, and provide ongoing technical support allowing the organisation to focus on what they do best.
