Entrepreneur & mentor selection system to build transformational businesses

Transformational Business Network connect entrepreneurs in the developing world to mentors, training and investment, empowering them to build businesses that transform communities and lift them out of poverty.

We worked with TBN’s leadership to select, configure and deploy technology to automate the application process and manage their pipeline of entrepreneur and mentor applications from initial application through to investment readiness.

Transformational Business Network (TBN) is a network of investors, entrepreneurs and professionals who use create sustainable business solutions to poverty in Africa and around the world.

TBN launched a new investment acceleration programme in 2017 aiming to select, mentor and scale-up high potential micro-enterprises in Kenya. We worked with TBN’s leadership to design the initial stages of identifying, selecting and managing entrepreneur and mentor applicants, taking them through a process to investment readiness.

We then developed a cost-effective system to manage this process in its pilot year integrating bespoke online application pages and workflow integrating seamlessly with a back-end system TBN already had. The system allows TBN programme managers and other stakeholders to review and filter applicants, communicate with them at various stages and manage the data generated throughout.
